  • Dimensions and Fit Check: Starter hole spacing is 2.64"(67 mm). The claw pawl cog measures 2.52" x 1.89"(64 x 48 mm), with 1.77" x 0.83" (45 x 21 mm) hole spacing. Before ordering this recoil starter, compare your engine model, original part shape and mounting patterns.
  • Small Engine Compatibility: The recoil pull starter is compatible with 33cc, 43cc, 47cc, 49cc and 50cc two-stroke engines on gas scooters, pocket bikes, mid-bikes, mini motorcycles, mini-choppers, small ATVs/quads and small dirt bikes. Engine displacement alone does not determine fit.
  • Durable Mixed-Material Construction: Reinforced nylon housing with aluminum alloy components. This keeps the starter lightweight while providing durable support for repeated manual starting. This is not an all-metal starter.
  • Restore Manual Starting: Includes 1pc recoil pull starter and 1pc claw pawl cog. Pulling the handle engages the starter mechanism to crank the engine. Replace a worn or damaged assembly to restore normal manual starting on a compatible engine.
  • Easy to Install: Stop the engine and disconnect the spark plug lead. Remove the old assembly, align the cog and starter, and secure fasteners. Check engagement and cord return before starting. Guide the handle back after each pull.
